Beaches in Lefkada

The beaches of Lefkada are of the most beautiful and the most famous in whole Greece. On the east side, the beautiful beaches with pebbles follow one another: the beach of Tempeli in Ligia, the beach Episkopos, the beaches in Nikiana, in Nidri, the beach Desimi, surrounded by green hills, the beach of Mikros Gialos and the beach of Ellhnikon, where functions an organized camping. On the west side, there are inaccessible beaches whose main feature is the wild beauty.

Starting from the north, someone can find the beach Lagada (Pefkoulia), 4 km in length with pine trees reaching to the shore, Milos, Agios Nikitas, Kathisma, one of the most famous beaches with sand, deep blue sea and the mountain to rises from behind, Yialos, Egkremnous, one of the most famous beaches reached by land difficulty because a lot of steps interfere on the way, Porto Katsiki, with bare rocks just above the beach and the changement of the colours of the sea, and the beaches in the bay of Vasiliki, in Kavo Doukato.
